Navigating Difficult Emotions: Anger

Notes

We continued our series, Navigating Difficult Emotions, with Pastor G talking about anger. Anger is a complex emotion that has deep and lasting consequences. In order to have a better handle on your anger, there are three things to consider:

  1. Trust in God - place the weight of your anger in His hands and let Him be your source of Truth and defense.

  2. Resolve it before it takes a foothold - don't harbor, feed, or encourage it, but instead, identify its source and change how you perceive it.

  3. Be quick to listen - take a break and give your heart and mind time to reevaluate a situation.
